F-38 | Maleficent's Retreat

We had a great visit to Disney Land thanks to our close stay to the park. The condo at Funtierland was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable condo and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice being that close to the park and having a nice place to rest after long days of Disney Park hopping! Thank you.

The property was extremely clean when we arrived. It’s well set up to have everything you need for meals at home, which was exactly what we wanted. The pool was fantastic for hanging out at on our down days. Communication was excellent from booking to checkout. Highly recommend!

Nice place and short easy walk to Disney parks

Since we were in California for a full week, it was so nice to have a full home to stay in. Disneyland is only a 15 min walk and the local neighbors were all very friendly. Would definitely book again!

This listing was properly advertised. It was in close proximity to Disneyland and had everything we needed. Our teens enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Great communication.

Everything was exactly as advertised... and we were very impressed by how clean it all was. This is feedback, not criticism... a little more sofa seating in the living room would have been nice for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. But we have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

For anyone worried about the location, Don't. We have stayed at hotels directly across from Disney on harbor Blvd and this is by far the best. The walk is quick and even better, the entrance on this side is the quickest to get through. When arriving at the other entrance you are with thousands of people trying to get through the security check. On this side you can literally walk right through. If you are going to Disneyland first, the tram entrance is right there. We loved the space and access to a kitchen and laundry. Any issues were taken care of immediately and the property manager texted to check on us often. I would book again!

I will start off by saying this propertys location is amazing and the unit itself is comfortable with everything we needed and more. There were strollers, beach supplies, lunchboxes and on and on. It is about a 15 minute walk from here to the park entrances going through downtown disney. The security lines on that side of the park are quick and if youre willing to go 2 blocks from this unit you could theoretically save a little walking by hopping on the tram at the mickey and friends parking garage by using the pedestrian overpass. We did run into an issue with the washer having a broken pump but it was addressed promptly and the management took care of it all. The parking garage is a bit tight but my Range Rover fit inside just barely haha. Will definitely rent this unit on future trips!

House was great. To long to walk to Disneyland for us, with kids, but great! We had everything we needed. They have extra beds so we could spread out! Very nice. Love sleeping upstairs and having entertainment downstairs. Nice for kids. The parking is a walk away from the house so dont bring more than you can carry! Maybe they could have a bell cart or something similar in the house to make less trips for packing. Overall great would stay again!

Everything was perfect for what we were looking for - primarily a place for 3 adults to stay and was close proximity to Disneyland. While we found it comfortable as adults, there were many details in place that’d suit a family with children. It was a short walk to the Disney properties, so both of our needs were met! Staff was amazing and communicated great. We were able to easily sort out dropping off our bags at the property, as we arrived earlier in the day before check-in, so we were free to roam the parks and do our thing without having to worry about storing our luggage. Great place, would highly recommend!

Close to Disneyland Park, easily accommodated our party.

This was a great location to Disneyland. Was clean and looked just like the pictures. They were also incredibly responsive to any questions.

We came with friends for an adult Disney trip and this spot was perfect! Super easy to walk to the parks and downtown Disney. Comfortable amenities and well stocked kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you.

15 minute walk from downtown Disney. Great for families. They provide coolers, strollers, extra beds, pack and plays, even toys for kids. We loved our stay

This is a clean, comfortable properly that is about six blocks form downtown Disney. The property was very quiet and close to grocery stores. This was my second stay there I highly recommend it to our friends looking to go to Disney.

Great Disney location! You can watch the fireworks from the front door. Very comfortable and well appointed condo in nice complex. Nice pool, but could use some more umbrellas. Very comfortable beds. I LOVED that there was extra toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dish soap and trash bags. It’s drives me CRAZY when you’re expected to supply dish soap etc during a Short stay. Kitchen has the necessities but no oils salt etc. It’s no biggie, just know you’ll need to get your own. Great parking. TONS of kids stuff! Stroller, highchair, floaties. Great stay and will come again.

Really get location for Disneyland, easy walk. Listing was accurate and served our needs perfectly.

The property is a bit of a maze, to locate the unit, the garage & your parking spot. Unit was clean and comfortable, patio area could of used some attention (weeds). Door code, address & map of property send more than a week before our arrival,

Great close place to stay while going to Disneyland and California adventure!!!!. Close walking to entrance of tram. Felt safe walking at night too. Great to go back and take a break from long busy days at the park. Had all amenities needed to stay. Close driving to Walmart too when we needed groceries and supplies. Would stay again.

Great town house across the street from Disneyland. Walking distance to park entrance was so nice. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again

I highly recommend this resort. Has everything and a quick 15 min walk to Disneyland. Had everything you could as for family. Had great communication with Host anything we needed or asked for they replied back super fast!!! We would stay here again for our next trip. We brought our 16 month grandson, they had High chair for him along with strollers, the rooms were decorated so cute, every room had Disney Decor!! Thanks again Sara, Hector for a fabulous stay!!! You were soo helpful !!!!

Very nice condo, comfortable for our family, close to Disneyland! The walk from the condo to Disneyland was about the same as the walk from the Disneyland parking garage to the park. So you can’t get much closer. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after getting home from walking around the park. We went in November so the swimming pool was very cold! I don’t think they heat it in the winter, or maybe the heat wasn’t working at the time. But the hot tub was perfect! Great kitchen. We would definitely recommend this cute condo!

This is our second time staying in a Funtierland rental. Perfect location, clean, great to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location. Attentive host. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. We were so glad to have found this location and will happily recommend this to all of our friends and family and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Ca.

Your 10 min walk to the Disneyland gates. The rental unit was clean, and had everything we needed. We definitely over packed. Had 3 strollers, one playpen, two kids beds. Coffee machine and filters, and lots of appliances we didn't need. Blenders etc. Both rooms were themed and beds were comfortable. Tvs had Netflix already installed and ready to use. You can see fireworks every night if you walk out front door and walk literally 10 feet. This rental was perfect and way better than any hotel room, plus way cheeper.

Positives of the stay:
Super clean house is well taken care of, decorated nicely and had plenty of space for our family of 6, close to Disneyland, short drive to grocery stores/Walmart/restaurants, had strollers for us to use (we used 2 for our twins), coolers/frozen packs and the rain ponchos were a huge plus for our days at Disney. House has toys and 2 TVs- the kids enjoyed that. The staff texted us during our stay and I felt like I could reach out and talk to anyone/anytime and get help. Communication before/during the trip is 5 stars.

My negatives:
House is in the middle of a complex so you can't drive up and park by your unit. I should have Google mapped it to get a better idea before we arrived after dark to where we were staying. We did have to make a few trips of hauling back and forth. At the end of our stay we did discover a rolling basket in the unit to use. We did feel safe and said hello in passing to some of the neighbors.

The carpet to the upper floor is sticky. I would replace it if it was my rental.

We would stay here again. Thank you for being a wonderful part of our family vacation.

The place is about as close as you can get without being on Disney property but still a bit of a walk. The unit was very clean and well appointed and as pictured. The negatives for us was the parking garage spot is not right beside it and a bit tricky to find so you have to carry all your stuff aways and the complex itself is dated and a bit run down looking. Once in the unit it is modern and nice furnishings.

We had a very good experience at Maleficent's retreat. Clean, remodeled, and plenty of room for our family of 4 (6 would fit just fine). The management staff was responsive and helpful, and we would stay again during future trips. Walking distance to Dinseyland was nice...ten minutes door to gate!
